As patriotic Americans, we believe that the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth. We are the most prosperous and the most powerful country on our planet. We have enjoyed more freedoms here than in any country in the history of civilization. It is our duty to help build our nation.

We propound the harmonious and prosperous “Andalusian Model” vision for a multi-cultural America, a historical basis, and point of reference of co-existence and cooperation called the “Jewish-Muslim-Christian symbiosis” that created a renaissance of science, technology and literature. We are influenced by Sufisim, Kabalism, and the tolerant mysticism of Ibn Ul Arabi, Ibn Rush (Averose) Ibn Sina (Avisenna), Suharwardi, Maimonides, and the greatest mystics of all , Jesus and Muhammad.  “Children of Abraham” and “AJCMA-ACMA” were born out of the optimism of Karen Armstrong who eloquently describes the similarities of the three monotheistic religions, and Bruce Feiler who points out the points of commonalties between the three great religions; ---- the symbioses of East and West.

As humans, we belong to one planet and one civilization. In fear, sometimes we have listened to the wrong “experts” and allowed them to vocalize the wrong conclusions on the root causes of various conflicts. We propound the optimistic ONE CIVILIZATION THEORY for our planet. After the Civil War, the North chose reconstruction rather than retribution. After the 2^nd World War, we created the Marshall Plan rather than colonization and have created a Europe in our image. We have to see beyond the bigots and work towards ONE CIVILIZATION; our American civilization that is built upon freedom and respect for other points of view.

Our American constitution is one of the greatest on earth, emulated and copied by all. We are the envy of the world. America is the land of freedom. Let freedom reign in this great land of ours. We are totally opposed to any laws that infringe on our freedoms. Karen Sist writes:

 “On October 1, Chicago became the latest city to pass a resolution against the USA PATRIOT Act (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act). In the nearly two years since it was passed on October 26, 2001, over 180 towns and cities across America have passed legislation against the Act. Three states, Alaska, Hawaii and Vermont, have also passed resolutions against the Act. Many more are in the works and the movement is growing”

We are totally and unambiguously opposed to the so called “Patriot Act” and will work with other groups who are opposed to the Patriot Act like Karen Sisti’s Associate Director of the Coalition for Peace Action (http://www.peacecoalition.org/) to end it before its expected sunset in 2005. 19 cowards do not constitute  “sleeper cells”. We are totally opposed to anti-Semitism in all its forms, Islam Bashing and the atrocious attitude of the airlines that allowed racial profiling.

As American Muslims we support “enlightened moderation” that emphasizes curtailing extremism within our ranks and eliminating the root causes of injustice. We oppose and will speak up against any Muslim who creates hatred within our community or espouses violence against others.

As American citizens ,we  strive to  develop common strategies on events that shape our daily lives in America
To educate each other on the positive aspects of our monotheistic faiths and focus on the commonalities.
